A NEWS UPDATE for friends and supporters of the MORE GREEN Project

A huge “Thank You!” to all the people in Swansea and further afield who donated toiletries, sponge bags and shower curtains.

The MORE GREEN Project passed most of these items on to a group project who use thick white shower curtains to create more sponge bags. They add zips (donated of course) and fill the bags with donated toiletries. Some bags are made up for single people and some for families. The bags are then taken to various places, including a hospital, where they are a real help.

So again, a massive “Thank You!” and a huge shout out to all volunteers who make this possible. You are amazing!

Also thank you again for all the donated paint and decorating materials. The MORE GREEN Project has donated the paint, brushes etc. to people with a need and we know that volunteers have gone in and painted a flat in order to support someone in difficulty. It is wonderful to witness the generosity of people!

Even though the Community Shop at Parc Tawe closed in 2017, the MORE GREEN Project is still open for business and is now working from the Project’s warehouse in Llansamlet where there are lots of Art/Craft items available as well as Bric a Brac. If you are looking for anything at all, or have items to donate, you can email, text or call Mo Green for information - see the CONTACT US page for contact details.
